Water!

I know drinking plenty of water is important for weight loss. Dehydration slows your metabolism, plus makes you feel sluggish.

I use a Fitbit to help track my exercise, overall activity level, calories, and water consumed. My Fitbit only asks that I drink 48 ounces if water per day, which seems really low to me. I’ve been told in the past to drink eight glasses a day. 8 ounces or 12?

Yesterday, I found a site where you enter your height, weight, and activity level. It will then tell you a range of calories you should consume and how much water you should be drinking per day. It will also give suggestions for frequency of meals. The only part I didn’t like was according to the site it doesn’t matter what you eat, but I disagree. If you fill up on carbs you’re going to be hungry sooner than you would on a balance of carbs, protein, and some fiber.

Okay, so about that water. I’m supposed to consume 95 ounces per day. 95! It sounds like a lot, but it’s definitely doable. I drank 80 ounces by yesterday afternoon before I left for work. I know I drank at least the 15 ounces at work, and had a glass before I went to bed.

Not so scary, I just need to stay on it. You can find the calorie and water calculator here at nowloss.com.

Cheers!

Thank you! I try to keep this blog fun but informative. Before trying ACE I looked for blogs of people who have tried the product and their experience with it, but all I kept finding was before and after photos and a link to buy the product.
